When does online registration close?

Online registration will close Wednesday, April 1, 2020 at 11 p.m.
You may still register at packet pickup on Thursday, Friday or Saturday. Or on race morning.

Can I mail in my paper registration?

Yes, please mail the paper registrations, payable to Riverside Dash.  Mailed entries must be postmarked by April 1, 2020. You can download it here.

If I sign up for the Allegiant 15k and just can’t do it, can I drop back to just run the Dash 5k?

Yes you may drop down to the Dash 5k but you must notify us. No refunds will be issued

If my training goes better than planned and I want to switch to the Allegiant 15k from the Dash 5k, what do I do?

You can upgrade to the Allegiant 15k by paying the difference in price (price of the Allegiant 15k at that moment) but you must notify us before the race.  No changes will be made on race morning. You will need to upgrade at packet pickup or through prior arrangements.

Are there course limits?

Both courses are closed courses.  Runners must maintain a 14-minute mile pace.  The course will be reopened at mile 5 by 8:30 am; runners must be past this point to continue.

My friends/family would like to volunteer, what should they do?

We love our volunteers and cannot have a successful race without them!  Please have your friends and family reach out to us here.

Can I bring my dog to run with me?

We love dogs, but because of the number of runners, dogs will need to dash someplace else.

What time to I need to be there on race morning?

Please allow yourself plenty of time to get parked and warmed up before the race starts.  You should plan on arriving no later than 6:30 a.m.

Is there a secure area where I can leave my things while I run?

We have a bag check.

Does the Dash 5k and the Allegiant  15k start together? 

No.  The Dash 5k and the Allegiant 15k have different start times.  Be sure to line up with the appropriate distance.

Is the Allegiant  15k course certified? The Dash 5k?

Both courses are  USATF Certified.

Where can my loved ones cheer me on?

State Road 17-92 will be completely closed to traffic for runner safety.  Therefore we ask that your friends and family that want to cheer for you on the route, take State Road 46 from Sanford into the Downtown area and find parking off Fulton or 1st street before the closures at Elm. From there they can walk the 1-2 blocks down to the waterfront. They are also more than welcome at the finish line.

Are there port-o-johns on the Allegiant 15k course?

Yes, there are port-o-johns or restroom facilities on the Allegiant 15k route at mile 1.5, mile 2.5, mile 4 and mile 6.5.

Will you have water, Gatorade or energy drinks along the route?

Yes, there is no shortage of water stops.  Water stops on the Allegiant 15k will be at estimated mile 1.5, mile 4, mile 5.5, mile 6, mile 8 and mile 8.5. Dash 5k runners will have water stops at mile .5, mile 1, mile 2 and mile 2.5.

Are jogging strollers allowed?

We are allowing jogging strollers on the Dash 5k route but ask that you are courteous of your fellow runners and start in the back of the group.

How old should someone be to run the Allegiant 15k?

It is recommended that runners for the Allegiant 15k be 13 years of age or older.
